CONSULTANT PROFILE

Douglas E. Howe is a 25-year veteran of successful new business start-ups in the technology sector, both in large companies as well as pre-revenue commercial enterprises. He specializes in strategic business development and general management to successfully launch new businesses and deliver strong revenue and profit gains in established companies. He holds a BA in Languages from Defiance College and an MBA in Marketing from The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania. He is a former jet attack pilot with the U.S. Navy, having accumulated 185 combat missions and over 300 carrier landings.

Mr. Howe has received accreditation by the Institute for Independent Business, an international not-for-profit business support organization. Its purpose is to bring timely and practical advice to independent business owners. His mission is to expand the Institute's presence in Ventura, Los Angeles and Santa Barbara counties.
