William Osgood is the owner and CEO of Coaching for Results, a business coaching company out of Oxnard, Ca. Coaching for Results is in its third year of business. William started his coaching practice in 2004 after spending 21 years with the Boy Scouts of America. William developed his love of coaching while employed in the Boy Scouts of America as a facilitator and mediator and helped the organization deal with many of the public issues in Ventura County.

As a result, he brings the same passion he had for the Boys Scouts of America to the domain of the small business. His passion is for small businesses to grow and this is evident by the type of clients and the community he serves. He has served organizations and companies as diverse as Day Break Ministries and Tender Life Transition Homes to Computer Specialist, Economy Electric, Done Rite Carpet Care and 35 South Body Retreat, to name a few.

He became a certified coach with CPPM, Newfield Network in 1999, after 14 months of training and internship with Business Coach, Richard LeKander. William has gone on to develop a Conversational Model of Business that when implemented will save thousands of hours and dollars for his clients. It also provides a unique way of looking at business and business issues and lets the owner simplify his Systems and processes.

In 2004, Coaching for Results entered a relationship with E-Myth Worldwide, Inc. as an authorized teacher on the concepts presented in the E-Myth Revisited. William regularly puts on leadership and business seminars around the western United States. He is currently building a Strategic Leadership Forum made up on CEO’s and Business Owners. This forum helps them become Innovators in business so they separate themselves from the competition. He is also in the process of writing a book on the leadership strategies inherent in great leaders in the post September 11, 2001 economy and another book on Small Business and the Marketing Deception.

Companies and Business owners who have worked with Coaching for Results have all said that the value of their business has increased exponentially. One company developed a BHAG to gross 1 million dollars by December 2006 and hit it in December 2005, after only 6 months of coaching, so now they are on to their second million. In this specific example of our flooring company client, we were privileged to watch their bottom line grow and encouraged them to think even bigger. In the companies Coaching for Results has worked in, the employees all play the game differently than they did before working with Coaching for Results. The idea of systemizing your business is so powerful, yet so few businesses do it. Bill encourages businesses to not leave it to luck or chance.

His company, Coaching for Results offers business coaching, leadership and executive coaching and seminars for business owners and entrepreneurs. He is very interested in promoting good health and fitness among the business community and his company promotes a product line called Sure Fire Health. William is a Rotarian of 19 years, a father of 19 year old, Will, and fortunate to have his bride of 24 years, Linda.
